PM Kisan Yojana Update: 18th Installment Released Today

PM Kisan Yojana Update: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is releasing the 18th installment of the PM Kisan Yojana on October 5. This initiative provides eligible farmers with Rs.2,000 every four months, totaling Rs. 6,000 each year through three payments.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the PM Kisan Yojana, farmers must have cultivable land in their name. The scheme is designed for small and marginal farmers who own up to 2 hectares.

Checking Your Eligibility

Farmers interested in this program must register first. Here’s how to check if you are eligible:

1. Visit the official PM-KISAN website.
2. Navigate to the beneficiary list section.
3. Choose your state, district, sub-district, block, and village.
4. Click on 'Get Report' to view the beneficiary list and see if your name is included.

Additionally, the beneficiary list is available at local Panchayat offices for public viewing.

Ensuring Updated KYC

To keep receiving benefits from the PM Kisan Yojana, farmers need to ensure their eKYC information is current. There are three options for completing eKYC:

• OTP-based eKYC: Accessible via the PM-KISAN portal and mobile app.
• Biometric eKYC: Offered at Common Service Centres (CSCs) and State Seva Kendras (SSKs).
• Face Authentication eKYC: Available on the PM KISAN Mobile App.
