PM Modi and President Murmu Extend Heartfelt Raksha Bandhan Wishes

Today, as people across the country celebrate Raksha Bandhan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared his best wishes with everyone. Modi extended his best wishes to all citizens on Raksha Bandhan, describing the festival as a symbol of the deep love between brothers and sisters. He expressed his hope that the special day would enhance relationships and bring happiness, prosperity, and good fortune to everyone’s lives.

President Murmu’s Message

President Droupadi Murmu also sent her Raksha Bandhan greetings to all citizens. She used her official X account to share her heartfelt wishes. Murmu highlighted the festival's focus on love and mutual trust between siblings.

She wrote, “On this Raksha Bandhan, I sincerely greet everyone. This festival celebrates the love and trust between brothers and sisters and fosters respect and affection for all women. I urge everyone to pledge to respect and ensure women's safety in our society.”
