On October 5, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Maharashtra to celebrate the third day of Sharadiya Navratri. He arrived at Nanded airport in the morning and first sought blessings at the Jagdamba Mata Temple in Poharadevi.

During his visit, PM Modi engaged with local traditions by playing the dhol, a traditional musical instrument, at the Samadhi of Sant Seva Lal Ji Maharaj. This act highlighted his connection with the cultural festivities of the region.

Inauguration of the Banjara Virasat Museum

Following his temple visit, the Prime Minister inaugurated the Banjara Virasat Museum in Washim. This event was attended by Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, among other dignitaries.

Launch of the Mumbai Metro Line 3

As part of the day's activities, PM Modi is scheduled to flag off Mumbai's first fully underground metro line, the Colaba-Bandra-SEEPZ Metro Line 3. This includes a partial opening of a 12.69-kilometre stretch between Aarey JVLR and the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC). Key attendees at this event will include Maharashtra Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan and various Union and state ministers.
