Footage aired by Russian state media RT shows the destroyed aircraft engulfed in smoke amidst a forested area. The eight-second clip highlights the scale of the destruction, with debris scattered and parts of the fuselage visibly burning.
Crash Site Identified in Amur Region
The plane's debris was discovered in Russia's Amur region, near the border with China. Authorities confirmed the fuselage was ablaze when found, and no survivors were reported. The area is now cordoned off for investigation.
Flight Details and Passenger Manifest
The ill-fated flight took off from Blagoveshchensk, heading toward the city of Tynda. It lost radar contact shortly after takeoff. Amur regional governor Vasily Orlov shared details on Telegram, confirming the total number of passengers and fatalities.

Emergency response teams and aviation authorities have begun initial investigations to determine the cause of the crash. Weather conditions, technical failure, and human error are being explored as possible reasons behind the tragic incident.
