In the wake of Baba Siddique's murder, Bollywood actor Salman Khan is now under scrutiny due to fresh death threats. The concern for his safety increased after his friend and NCP leader, Baba Siddique, was shot outside his son Zeeshan Siddique’s office in Mumbai's Neelamnagar on the night of October 12 by three armed men.

Lawrence Bishnoi Gang's Threats and Increased Security Measures

Salman Khan has been on the radar of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang for some time. Following the recent threats, his security has been significantly strengthened. Reports indicate that the gang claimed responsibility for Baba Siddique's murder, prompting authorities to enhance Khan's protection, including the addition of a bulletproof vehicle to his collection.

Specific Threats Received by Salman Khan

A death threat sent via WhatsApp to the Mumbai Police stated that if Salman Khan wants to stay alive and resolve the enmity with Lawrence Bishnoi, he must pay Rs. 5 crore. The message warned that if the payment isn’t made, Khan's situation would be worse than that of Baba Siddique.

Salman Khan's Bulletproof Vehicle Acquisition

In response to these threats, Salman Khan has purchased a bulletproof Nissan Patrol SUV worth ₹2 crore, which he is arranging to import from Dubai. This vehicle is not available in the Indian market, and its import will incur significant costs. The Nissan SUV was chosen for its advanced safety features, including explosive alert indicators, thick glass shields for protection against gunfire, and camouflage black shades to obscure the identities of those inside.

Previous Threats and Ongoing Projects

Last year, Khan imported another bulletproof car from the UAE after he and his father, Salim Khan, received death threats from the Bishnoi gang. Despite the recent threats, Salman Khan returned to the sets to shoot for Bigg Boss 18 under heavy security, marking his first appearance since Baba Siddique's murder.
