After the grand victory of the Mahayuti in the Maharashtra Assembly elections, the needle is stuck on the post of Chief Minister. There has been no official announcement of the new CM yet. Meanwhile, a big statement has come from Union Minister Ramdas Athawale. He says that Eknath Shinde should be brought to the Center.

Although Eknath Shinde resigned from the post of CM on Tuesday. in the presence of Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar and submitted his resignation to the Governor.

Union Minister said, 'Eknath Shinde should take two steps back, just as Devendra Fadnavis took four steps back and worked under his leadership. Shinde should be made Deputy CM or should get a place in the Union Cabinet.' He said that he feels that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah will definitely consider this. Mahayuti needs Shinde and his 57 MLAs.

He said, 'Mahayuti alliance will have to take a decision on this soon and should also compromise. Also, the cabinet should be expanded with great confidence and my party should definitely get a ministerial post in that cabinet. I have also placed this demand before Devendra Fadnavis.'

Grand victory of BJP with his alliances

In the results that came on November 23, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has won the maximum number of seats. The Mahayuti alliance won 235 out of 288 seats, out of which BJP won 132, Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena won 57 and Ajit Pawar's NCP won 41 seats. The remaining seats went to other parties in the alliance.
