Indore: The "Khelo India" campaign launched by the Government of India is providing the country with numerous young athletes and new talent. One such unique talent is 16-year-old table tennis player Kavya Bhatt from Akola, Maharashtra, who has added another new chapter to her award-winning career. After eight years of wait and reaching the national finals nine times, she has finally won the gold medal for the first time. She won two medals at the UTT National Ranking Table Tennis Tournament, November 2025.

The eight-year wait for 16-year-old Kavya Bhatt has come to a happy end at the UTT National Ranking Table Tennis Tournament held in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. After reaching the national finals nine times, she has finally won the gold medal in the women's singles. With her determination, faith, patience, pain, and indomitable courage, Kavya Bhatt has showcased her unique talent to the world. It's worth noting that Kavya has won not just one, but two medals.

Kavya Bhatt also won a silver medal in the Under-19 Girls' Singles.
