South Africa Replaces Injured Anrich Nortje with Corbin Bosch for Champions Trophy
South Africa has announced bowling all-rounder Corbin Bosch as the replacement for the injured Anrich Nortje in their 15-member squad for the Champions Trophy 2025, set to take place in Pakistan later this month.

Corbin Bosch 's Performance and Recent Form
The 30-year-old Bosch made his ODI debut against Pakistan in December, where he took 1 wicket for 69 runs in 9 overs. However, he gained recognition as one of the best seamers in the SA20 league, playing a key role in MI Cape Town’s title-winning campaign.
Kwena Maphaka Added as a Reserve
Apart from Bosch, fast bowler Kwena Maphaka has been included as a travelling reserve. South Africa is already dealing with injury concerns, as Gerald Coetzee is out due to a groin injury, while Beuran Hendricks and Lizaad Williams are also recovering.
Players Departing for Karachi
Bosch and Maphaka, along with opener Tony de Zorzi, will travel to Karachi on Sunday to join the squad for the remaining matches of the tri-nation ODI series against Pakistan and New Zealand.
Yasir Arafat Joins South Africa’s Support Staff
In another development, former Pakistan all-rounder Yasir Arafat has been appointed as a consultant for South Africa’s support staff during both the tri-series and the Champions Trophy.
