Haryana Election Results: In the ongoing counting of votes from the October 5 assembly elections in Haryana, BJP candidate Shruti Choudhry is leading by 3,099 votes in the Tosham assembly constituency against Congress candidate Anirudh Chaudhary.

Vote Counting Process

Counting began at 8 AM on Tuesday under tight security. Early trends showed Congress leading in many areas, but as counting progressed, the BJP started to make significant gains. Currently, the BJP is leading in 31 seats, while Congress holds a lead in 38 seats.

  • Bhupinder Singh Hooda: The former chief minister is leading in his Garhi Sampla-Kiloi seat in Rohtak district by 5,082 votes.

According to election officials, postal ballots will be counted first, followed by the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs).
