Unforgettable & Unprecedented, CM Yogi hails Mahakumbha 2025 on concluding day  

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will announce the formal closing of the 45-day long Mahakumbh fair today.

Today is the formal closing ceremony of the 45-day long Mahakumbh in Teerthraj Prayagraj. On this occasion, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will honor the sanitation and fair workers. Many ministers including both the deputies will also attend this program with him. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav will also reach Prayagraj at 9 am. Will honor the employees who did the best work in Mahakumbh.

CM Yogi will honor the employees of the fair

More than 66 crore people have taken a dip of faith in this Mahakumbh being held in Prayagraj after 144 years. The Mahakumbh fair started on 13 January. The last Amrit bath was on 26 February i.e. Mahashivratri. On this day, more than 1.32 crore devotees took a bath in Sangam. CM Yogi thanked all the saints and devotees for this successful event at Triveni Sangam.

Mahakumbh ended with Mahashivratri

Although Mahakumbh ended with Mahashivratri, but its formal announcement will be made today. CM Yogi Adityanath will honor the cleaning and fair workers on this occasion today.

On the day of Mahashivratri, the Air Force saluted the Mahakumbh and the devotees who came here. On this occasion, the fair administration also showered flowers from helicopters.

66 crore people took a dip of faith

More than 66 crore people took a holy bath in the lap of Triveni, the holy land of Teerthraj Prayagraj, without any discrimination. This number is almost half the population of the country. This Mahakumbh has made the state and the country proud in the whole world. This time more than 20 lakh people did Kalpavas in Mahakumbh. Devotees from more than 50 countries had come to Mahakumbh.

Summary

People from many countries including Nepal, Bhutan, America, England, Japan took a dip of faith in Sangam. The government had made tight security arrangements during the Maha Kumbh.

There were sporadic incidents of stampede, but no major incident took place in the fair premises. This Maha Kumbh was successfully concluded under the supervision of all the top officials of the state.
