UP Minister Nand Gopal Gupta's convoy collided with tractor-trolley; 3 soldiers injured

The security van included in the fleet of UP's Yogi Government’s Cabinet Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi collided with a tractor. Though security car was right behind Minister Nandi's Fortuner car. Due to collision with the tractor, three CRPF soldiers and the driver in the Bolero car were seriously injured. While Minister Nandi's Fortuner car narrowly escaped in this accident.

According to the information, this accident happened near Sant Kabir Nagar Kanti intersection in Purvanchal. People allege that this accident happened due to the negligence of the tractor driver, in which three CRPF soldiers and the Bolero driver were injured.

However, the minister admitted the injured CRPF jawans to Sri Krishna Mission Hospital in Basti district for treatment, after primary treatment, he took all of them with him to Medanta Hospital in Lucknow. Two CRPF jawans have head injuries and one has hand injuries.

Meanwhile according to the information received regarding this accident, Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta 'Nandi' was returning from the 35th Foundation Day celebrations of Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority, when the car in his convoy collided with a tractor near Sant Kabir Nagar Kanti intersection.

Sant Kabir Police has shared information on X regarding the incident. Police said that on November 30, the permanent escort vehicle of the minister of UP government suddenly collided with a tractor-trolley near Bhujani on National Highway 27 under Thana Kotwali Khalilabad, in which the injured jawans were taken to Basti District Hospital Basti.
