In London, UK Parliamentarian Bob Blackman emphasized the influential role of the Indian diaspora in shaping the future of India, coinciding with the announcement of the Lok Sabha elections schedule by the Election Commission of India.

The Lok Sabha Elections 2024 are set to unfold across seven phases, starting from April 19, with vote counting scheduled for June 4. Blackman, expressing optimism, predicted a majority win with "400-plus" seats for the BJP, highlighting the strengthening ties between India and the United Kingdom under BJP governance.
