Water Supply Cut in Delhi: What You Need to Know
Water Supply Cut in Delhi: The Delhi Jal Board (DJB) has announced that some areas in the national capital will experience a water supply cut for 12 hours on Friday, October 25. The cut will last from 10 AM to 10 PM due to maintenance work.
Reason for the Water Cut
The water supply disruption is due to the interconnection work of a newly laid loop line in an 800 mm diameter pipeline located in Naraina Main, near Rajouri Garden Metro Station (Pillar No. 415).
Affected Areas
Residents in the following areas will either have no water supply or experience low water pressure on October 25:
- Inder Puri
- Maya Puri
- Toda Pur Village
- Dasghara
- C-Block JJR
- Naraina Village
- Naraina Vihar
- Krishi Kunj
- Mansarovar Garden
- Ramesh Nagar
- MES
- Kirti Nagar Underground Reservoir (UGR) area
- HMP Colony
Advice for Residents
The DJB has advised residents to store enough water in advance according to their needs and encouraged everyone to use water wisely during this period. If needed, residents can request water tankers through the DJB helpline or the central control room.
In addition to the above, there will also be a water supply cut in South Delhi. This cut will affect supply for 12 hours, from 10 AM on October 23 until the evening of October 24.
