The forest department team controlled the crocodile with great difficulty with the help of ropes. 19 people died because of rain
The number of people who lost their lives in such incidents has increased to 26 in three days. Heavy monsoon rains also occurred in Gujarat on Thursday for the fifth day. Despite the rains stopping in Vadodara, the Vishwamitri river flowing through the city broke its banks and entered residential areas, causing waterlogging in low-lying areas and submerging buildings, roads and vehicles.
PM Modi assured CM Patel of all possible help
There are flood-like conditions in many parts of Gujarat. Amidst heavy rains and flood conditions, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel over the phone and took stock of the situation. He assured CM Patel of all possible help. At the same time, due to the floods, people got trapped in their homes and roofs in Vadodara city, who were evacuated by three contingents of NDRF, SDRF and Army and taken to safe places.

IMD issued advised fishermen not to go sea for two days
The Meteorological Department has said that the danger is not over yet in Gujarat. The spell of rain will continue for a day or two. Due to rain, 140 reservoirs, dams and 24 rivers in the state are flowing above the danger mark. Traffic and train movement have also been disrupted due to heavy rains. Out of 206 dams, 122 have been put on high alert.
