The Trayodashi Tithi will begin at 1:32 PM on October 18. From this time onwards, devotees can start their Dhanteras shopping and puja, which can continue throughout the night. With the festive season approaching, markets are filled with beautiful idols of Lord Ganesha in various forms—seated on a throne, a lotus, or even a swing. Traders from Bhagalpur say that the swinging Ganesha idols from Jaipur and Moradabad are especially popular this year, with prices ranging between Rs.3,000 to Rs.3,500. Many customers have already booked their idols to bring them home on Dhanteras.

Lakshmi-Ganesha-Saraswati Idols Trending

The demand for combined idols of Goddess Lakshmi, Lord Ganesha, and Goddess Saraswati has also seen a surge. These idols, priced between Rs.1,100 to Rs.6,100, are believed to symbolize wealth, wisdom, and success. As per tradition, worshipping the trio together ensures harmony, financial stability, and knowledge in the household.

Symbolic Idols for Prosperity

This Dhanteras, idols of Tortoise Shree Yantra, Lord Kubera, Nandi, and Cow-Calf are also in high demand. Prices range from Rs.500 to Rs.7,100, depending on size and material. According to pundits, each of these symbols holds special significance—the tortoise represents stability, Kubera signifies wealth, Nandi denotes strength and devotion, while the cow-calf brings peace and abundance. Installing them on Dhanteras is believed to invite good luck and prosperity.
