Shifting focus to the match, Australia, choosing to bowl first, successfully restricted India to 240 runs in 50 overs. Despite a challenging batting surface, Captain Rohit Sharma (47 in 31 balls, with four boundaries and three sixes), Virat Kohli (54 in 63 balls, with four boundaries), and KL Rahul (66 in 107 balls, with one four) made crucial contributions.
Mitchell Starc (3/55) emerged as the standout bowler for Australia, while Captain Pat Cummins (2/34) and Josh Hazlewood (2/60) also delivered commendable performances. Adam Zampa and Glenn Maxwell secured one wicket each.
In pursuit of 241, India initially had Australia struggling at 47/3. However, impactful innings from Travis Head (137 in 120 balls, with 15 fours and four sixes) and Marnus Labuschagne (58 in 110 balls, with four boundaries) steered Australia to a convincing six-wicket victory.
Mohammed Shami claimed one wicket, and Jasprit Bumrah took two wickets. Travis Head was awarded the 'Player of the Match' for his outstanding century.
Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan is gearing up for his next appearances on the big screen. He is set to star in the upcoming sci-fi action film 'Kalki 2898 AD,' sharing the screen with Deepika Padukone and Prabhas. The highly anticipated film is scheduled to release in theaters on January 12, 2024.
In addition to 'Kalki 2898 AD,' Amitabh Bachchan has another project in his pipeline—a courtroom drama film titled 'Section 84.' Fans can anticipate witnessing the legendary actor in diverse roles as he continues to add new dimensions to his illustrious career.
