Adhira First Look: The makers of Adhira have dropped its striking first look poster, introducing SJ Suryah and Kalyan Dasari as the leads. Backed by Riwaz Ramesh Duggal under RKD Studios and presented by RK Duggal, the film joins the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe, which has been gaining traction for blending Indian mythology with superhero storytelling. Creative Team Behind Adhira

Adhira is created by Prasanth Varma and directed by Sharan Koppisetty. The project has Venkat Kumar Jetty as the executive producer and Vamsi Shekar as the P.R.O. The film’s technical crew includes cinematographer Shivendra, music composer Sricharan Pakala, production designer Sri Nagendra Tangala, costume designer Lanka Santoshi, and publicity designer Ananth Kancherla.

Inspired by Mythology

According to reports, Adhira has been in development for quite some time. Prasanth Varma earlier revealed that the team has been working meticulously on the script, calling it the most ambitious and complex film in the PVCU so far. The superhero reportedly draws power from Indra, the Hindu deity of thunder and rain, adding a mythological depth to the narrative.

Known for films like Awe (2018), Kalki (2019), Zombie Reddy (2021), and the blockbuster Hanu-Man (2024), Prasanth Varma has established himself as a pioneer of the Telugu superhero genre. With Adhira, he continues expanding the PVCU, a franchise that blends Indian mythology with modern cinematic flair. His earlier work Awe even won National Awards for Best Special Effects and Best Make-up.
