The Union Home Minister Amit Shah directed the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and National Security Guard(NSG) to reach Kerala where massive explosion shook the country on Sunday Morning. The Home Minister asked NIA and NSG teams to rush to Ernakulam and start investigating the matter with utmost seriousness. The Sunday explosion in Kerala's Ernakulam killed one person and injured dozens of people in multiple explosions in Kochi's Kalamassery. The Home Minister also talked to the Chief Minister and took stock of the situation. [caption id="attachment_15110" data-align="alignnone" data-width="720"] Kerala Explosion[/caption] Earlier, the Chief Minister of Kerala expressed his condolences over the shocking incident. CM Pinarayi Vijayan said that the government is taking the incident very seriously and top officials are alert and on duty. He said "it's a very very unfortunate incident. We are collecting details regarding the incident. All top officials in Ernakulam are there. DGP is moving to the spot. We are taking it very seriously. I have spoken to DGP we will get more details only after the investigation. As of now, one person has died. Some are in hospital. I will talk later after getting the details." Kerala's health Minister, Veena George has also directed all hospitals to call back all health workers who are on leave to return to duty immediately. She also directed the Director of Health Department and Director of Medical Education Department to provide best services to the injured. Multiple explosions took place during a meeting of Jehovah's witnesses in the Kalamassery area and the first explosion took place at around 9 am which was followed by multiple explosion.
