Ayodhya: Ayodhya's Karsewakpuram, a site filled with historical significance, is now abloom with vibrant flowers as it prepares for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of the Ram Temple scheduled for tomorrow. This area gained prominence in 1990 when Karsevaks, engaged in the Ram Temple movement, sought refuge here amid orders to open fire by the then Mulayam Singh government. "Today, on January 20, 2024, daily prayers, havan, etc. were held. Rituals with sugar and fruits also took place. 81 Kalash were established and worshipped in the courtyard of the temple.
