Dream11, BCCI end jersey sponsorship:  The Central Government introduced the Online Gaming Bill to crack down on online games. There was a deal of Rs 358 crore between BCCI and Dream11 for the jerseys of the players of the Indian team, which was broken after the passing of the bill. At the same time, Dream11 company spent a total of Rs 2,964 crore in the agreement with BCCI in the year 2023.

BCCI breaks deal with Drill 11

BCCI Secretary Devchit Saikia said, that the board will not have any relationship with any such organization in future. He said that after the passage of the Online Gaming Promotion and Regulation Bill, 2025, BCCI and Dream 11 are ending their relationship. BCCI will ensure that there is no relationship with any such organization in future. The new bill of the central government bans the promotion, advertising and sponsorship of real-money gaming platforms. This will make it difficult for Dream11 to keep wearing Team India's jersey.

Dream11 spent crores of rupees

Dream11 had a deal for jersey for three years in 2023, in which the company gave a lot of money to cricket board. While Dream Sports, the parent company of Dream11, spent Rs 2,964 crore on ads and promotion in the year 2022-23. According to market data, fantasy companies like Dream 11 spend about Rs 5,000 crore on marketing every year.
