Saqib Saleem Reveals Sustaining an Injury while Shooting High-Octane Action Sequence for Kaptaan
Saqib Saleem sustained a wrist injury while filming an action sequence for Kaptaan, now streaming on Amazon MX Player.
Saqib Saleem has ignited the screens with his latest explosive release, Kaptaan, a high-stakes action thriller streaming on Amazon MX Player. Recently, the actor opened up about the physical challenges he faced while shooting intense action sequences for Kaptaan. “High-octane action looks exciting on-screen, but it comes with its own risks,” he shared.
“While shooting one of the engaging action shots, I ended up injuring my wrist during a chase sequence, and landed up on my wrist. The movement was sudden, and therefore the injury. There were safety measures in place, but we were deep into the intensity of that moment. Thankfully, the injury wasn’t too serious, and I was back on the set soon. Kaptaan has action sequences that look very raw and real, and I wanted to give it my all,” shared Saqib Saleem.
What stood out was Saqib’s determination to return to the shoot, indicating that halting wasn’t an option! With Kaptaan being physically intense and layered, Saqib’s commitment towards giving it all shows that the actor left no stone unturned to go full throttle as a dedicated cop, Samardeep Singh. And his efforts have paid off!
Loaded with action heaviness and mind games, Kaptaan has been making the right noise ever since it made its debut on Amazon MX Player on April 3. And with Saqib stepping into a never-before-seen avatar as a police officer, the actor has given his fans a thrilling series to binge-watch this weekend!
