The animated sequel to The Super Mario Bros. Movie held the top position for the second consecutive week, earning $69 million over the weekend, according to Box Office Mojo. Its total domestic collection has crossed $308 million.
Project Hail Mary secured the second spot with $24.58 million over the weekend. The film, starring Ryan Gosling, has collected nearly $257 million in total so far.
The highest-grossing new release of the weekend was You, Me & Tuscany, which debuted at number four with $8 million. The film features Halle Bailey and Regé-Jean Page.
