Candidates aspiring to join the Indian Army can apply for the Short Service Commission (SSC) selection on joinindianarmy.nic.in.

What is the selection process?

The application process is for filling 381 posts in the Indian Army. The selection process involves shortlisting based on the cut-off percentage of marks for each engineering stream, as specified on the official website. Shortlisted candidates will receive center allotment information and must choose their SSB dates on a first-come, first-served basis. The two-stage selection procedure includes SSB interviews lasting five days. Candidates recommended after Stage-2 proceed to the medical examination, and those found fit receive joining letters for training based on merit. The merit list is subject to the number of vacancies and eligibility criteria. The available posts include 350 for SSC (Tech) Men, 29 for SSC(Tech) Women, and 2 for Widows of Defence Personnel Check out the official notification
