Karnataka government has consented to give the beneficiaries 2.32 lakh houses
Housing Minister Zameer Ahmed Khan announced that the Karnataka government would provide 2.32 lakh houses to beneficiaries, covering costs of about Rs.8000 crore. Also read: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman inaugurated SBI Branch in Srilanka Congress minister Zameer Ahmed Khan announced on Friday that the Karnataka government is now prepared to distribute 2.32 lakh houses to beneficiaries throughout the state, which can be regarded its sixth guarantee since taking charge with a resounding victory in the assembly elections on May 10. While addressing reporters, he reaffirmed Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's commitment to the government covering the costs intended to be borne by the recipients in order to implement an "idle" scheme.
