No Garba if you are not Hindu says Garba organisers in Ujjain

Garba organisers in Ujjain , Madhya Pradesh have made it clear that only Hindus can attend their Garba. The organisers, Sankalp Sanskriti Sanstha, will be checking Aadhaar Cards before giving entry to people to their venue. According to various media reports, the decision to allow only Hindus to play Garba in their premise was taken by the Garba Organisers to prevent cases of Love Jihad. The organisers reportedly will also welcome the male participants with a tilak on their forehead. The TOI report on Wednesday brought the information about the use of Aadhaar Card and Tilak. [caption id="attachment_14315" data-align="alignnone" data-width="2560"] People doing Garba[/caption] Law enforcement authorities also don't have any objection to this decision as the place is privately owned and the owner have the right to pose such conditions. According to media reports, district collector was unaware about this situation and will look into the matter and act accordingly. Love Jihad is used as a term to describe romantic relationship between inter-religion people carried out with the motive of conversion. The organisers in this case may fear that such incident may take place which will lead to religious conversion and thus have taken such steps. Members of the organisers committee are comfortable with their decision and have expressed that they are not against other religions, but rather want to prevent cases of Love Jihad.
