In his address at the Goa meeting, he stated, "In India, we have connected more than 190 million households to LPG over the past nine years. In 2015, we initiated a small movement by initiating the world's largest LED distribution programme, which saves us more than 45 billion units of energy annually.
Regarding ethanol-blended petrol, he stated, "We have begun the rollout of 20% ethanol-blended petrol this year, and our goal is to encompass the entire country by 2025. We must discover ways to close technological gaps, increase energy security, and diversify supply chains."
Today, July 21, 2023, the 14th Clean Energy Ministerial and 8th Mission Innovation Meeting began in Goa under the leadership of RK Singh, the Union Minister for Power and New & Renewable Energy for the Government of India. The opening session of the Ministerial event was attended by ministers from more than thirty participating countries, chiefs of delegations, and representatives of international organisations.
