Rajasthan Election: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed his good wishes to first-time voters in Rajasthan as polling for 199 Assembly seats commenced on Saturday. Through his official social media account on X, PM Modi urged voters of all age groups to turn out in large numbers and set a record turnout for the elections. In a Hindi post on X, formerly Twitter, PM Modi stated, "Voting will be held today for the Rajasthan Assembly. I request voters across all age groups to come out in big numbers and exercise their franchise. I would also like to convey my best wishes to all my young friends who are going to vote for the first time." https://twitter.com/narendramodi/status/1728223446273007843 The voting process began in 199 out of 200 assembly seats in Rajasthan, with the Karanpur constituency being an exception due to the unfortunate demise of Congress candidate Gurmeet Singh Koonar, resulting in the adjournment of elections in that area. Polling started at 7 am and will continue until 6 pm, with extensive security measures in place to ensure fair and peaceful elections. The Congress is aiming for another term, while the BJP is vying to replace the current Ashok Gehlot government, counting on the popularity of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
