SBI Debit card charges: The State Bank of India (SBI) has announced revisions to its annual maintenance charges for various debit card categories, set to take effect from April 1, according to information available on the SBI website. These changes encompass not only annual maintenance fees but also adjustments to charges related to card issuance and replacement.
Revised Charges for Debit Cards
The revised annual maintenance charges for different categories of SBI debit cards are as follows:- The annual maintenance charge for Classic, Silver, Global, and Contactless Debit Cards will rise to Rs. 200 + GST, up from the current Rs. 125 + GST.
- For Yuva, Gold, Combo Debit Card, and My Card (Image Card): The annual maintenance fee will see a hike to Rs. 250 + GST from the existing Rs. 175 + GST.
- For the SBI Platinum Debit Card: The annual maintenance charge will now be Rs. 325 + GST, up from Rs. 250 + GST.
- For specific debit cards like the Pride Premium Business Debit Card: The annual maintenance charges will be raised to Rs. 425 + GST from the current Rs. 350 + GST.
