The thrilling final match of WPL 2024 took place between Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore on Sunday. Delhi Capitals won the toss and chose to bat first, putting up a decent start with their opening batsmen. However, they stumbled after losing their first wicket in the form of Shefali Verma at 64 runs. The team continued to lose wickets, ultimately getting all out for 113 runs in 18.3 overs. In response, Royal Challengers Bangalore's opening pair of Smriti Mandhana and Sophie Devine laid a solid foundation, adding 49 runs to the scoreboard. Despite Devine's dismissal, Alice Perry and captain Mandhana accelerated the run chase.
