Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal expressed his unwavering dedication to serving the nation, regardless of his circumstances, as he faced legal proceedings on Friday.

Facing Court Proceedings

The Enforcement Directorate brought Kejriwal before the Rouse Avenue court seeking a 10-day custody in connection with a case related to excise policy and money laundering.

Commitment to Nation

Speaking to media, during his court appearance, Kejriwal emphasized, "My life is dedicated to the service of the nation whether I am inside or outside (jail)."

First Reaction After Arrest

This statement marks Kejriwal's first response following his arrest by the ED on Thursday night.

Political Conspiracy Allegation

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) denounced Kejriwal's arrest as a "political conspiracy" aimed at halting his participation in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Nationwide Protest

In response, the party called for a nationwide protest against the BJP, alleging its involvement in the incident.

Leaders Detained

During the protest at ITO, several leaders of the AAP, including Delhi cabinet ministers Atishi and Saurabh Bharadwaj, along with the party's Lok Sabha candidate from East Delhi, Kuldeep Kumar, were detained by authorities. Atishi on Thursday assured that Arvind Kejriwal will continue to be the CM of Delhi even if he has to run the government from jail. AAP party workers have been protesting against the detention since March 21.
