Assam: No break for Jumma Namaaz, CM decision taken to increase productivity
Assam: The CM Himanta Biswa Sarma said, that the government has ended the old practice break for Jumma Namaaz from ,Now there will be no break for this same. The government of Assam ended the old practice, CM said that, he took this decision to increase productivity in work,
The CM Himanta Biswa Sarma praised this decision on X and wrote, "With the aim of increasing the productivity of the Assam Legislative Assembly, to remove the colonial burden of the state, the rule of adjourning the House for Jumma every Friday for 2 hours was abolished. In the meanwhile This practice was started by Syed Sadullah of the Muslim League in 1937.
