Ayodhya: Karsewak area transformed with colorful flowers ahead of Ram Temple Ceremony
Ayodhya: Ayodhya's Karsewakpuram, a site filled with historical significance, is now abloom with vibrant flowers as it prepares for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of the Ram Temple scheduled for tomorrow. This area gained prominence in 1990 when Karsevaks, engaged in the Ram Temple movement, sought refuge here amid orders to open fire by the then Mulayam Singh government.

Transformation Over Time
Initially just a ground, Karsewakpuram has undergone a gradual transformation, and the current floral decorations serve as a testament to the changing times. Situated approximately two kilometers from the Ram Janmabhoomi site, this location encapsulates the evolving narrative of the struggle for the Ram Temple.
Champat Rai's Residence Illuminated
The residence of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra General Secretary, Champat Rai, has also been illuminated with twinkling lights, contributing to the festive ambiance surrounding the upcoming Pran Pratishtha ceremony.
Vedic Rituals and Preparations
"Today, on January 20, 2024, daily prayers, havan, etc. were held. Rituals with sugar and fruits also took place. 81 Kalash were established and worshipped in the courtyard of the temple. Evening puja and aarti were also held," Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth posted on X.
Childhood Depiction of Lord Ram Graces Temple Gates
Posters featuring the child version of Lord Ram adorned the entry gate to the grand Ayodhya temple two days before the Pran Pratishtha ceremony, adding a touch of devotion and innocence to the surroundings.
Security Measures by Uttar Pradesh DGP
Uttar Pradesh Director General of Police (DGP) Vijay Kumar has issued security directives in anticipation of the Ram Temple's Pran Pratishtha. He said, "A large number of devotees are already present in Ayodhya, who are staying in religious places, Dharamshalas, and Ashrams. The managers of those ashrams should be urged that all the devotees should not go for darshan together. After January 22, arrangements for darshan should be made in order."
