The Pran Pratishtha ceremony featured the unveiling of the Ram Lalla idol after an hour-long ritual, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi leading the proceedings.

As part of the ceremony, the Prime Minister walked within the temple premises, carrying a silver 'chattar' (umbrella) adorned with a red folded dupatta.

Among those present during the rituals were RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, all inside the sanctum.

The global spotlight turned to the 'Ram Nagri' Ayodhya, where earthen lamps (diyas) illuminated the city on a grand scale, and fireworks lit up the night sky in various parts of the city.

Approximately 8,000 invitees attended the event, including 1,500-1,600 distinguished guests. Eminent personalities from diverse fields such as cricket, film, saint society, politics, art, literature, culture, and more graced the ceremony with their presence.
