Shri Ram Special Bhog: The day of the consecration of the 'Ram Temple' dedicated to Lord Ram in Ayodhya city is nearing and its boom is being seen not only in Ayodhya city but in the entire country. The workers constructing the Ram temple are also consider themselves very fortunate that they are contributing to serving Lord Ram and making such a big task happen in history. You all know that Ram temple in Ayodhya is to be inaugurated on 22 January 2024. Preparations are also going on in full swing. In such a situation, do you know that a special kind of bhog will be offered to Ram Lalla in his consecration? Let us tell you what will be special in this special bhog and what will be the dishes.

Lord Ram will be seated in his grand palace on 22 January. On this special day, Ramlala will be given a special feast, with a significant contribution of 3,000 quintals of rice from his maternal home in Chhattisgarh.

The people of Chhattisgarh consider Lord Ram as their nephew.

In this state, Lord Rama is not only revered but also adopted as a beloved deity in the role of a beloved nephew. An example of this sentiment is the grand temple of Mata Kaushalya situated amidst the blooming white lotus pond in Chandkhuri near Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh. Built in the 10th century, this temple stands as a testament to the deep connection of the people with Lord Rama, whose worship dates back to the Treta Yuga, when the place was known as the city of Kaushalpur.

Let us tell you that Ramlala gets Prasad thrice a day, Bal Bhog in the morning, Raj Bhog in the afternoon and Sandhya Bhog in the evening. Since Ramlala is deified as a child, he is cared for like a human being, and his offerings are made to suit the prevailing season.

To mark the dedication of Shri Ram's life, 1100 thalis decorated with gifts, as well as dry fruits, 51 types of sweets, curd-butter, fruits and clothes will be presented to him from his in-laws house in Janakpur, Nepal.

Apart from these offerings, a bell made of eight metals will be installed in the Ram temple, which is considered to be the largest bell in the country made in Etah, Uttar Pradesh.

Additionally, during the inauguration of the Ram temple, a 108-foot-long incense stick, a gift from Vadodara, will be lit. This incense stick is prepared from Panchgavya, havan material and cow dung.
