Bambiha Gang Member Fatally Shot in Sonipat, Responsibility Claimed by Goldy Brar

Deepak, also known as Maan Jaton and a known associate of the Bambiha gang, was discovered dead in Harsana Kalan village, Sonipat, with gunshot wounds to his head and stomach. Originally from Punjab's Faridkot district, Deepak had close ties to Lucky Patial, a member of the Bambiha gang operating from Armenia. His criminal record included numerous charges, such as murder, attempted murder, dacoity, and other offenses, spanning across Haryana, Punjab, Delhi, and Chandigarh.

According to a senior police official in Sonepat, Deepak had issued a challenge to rival gang member Goldy Brar, claiming that he and his associates were responsible for the murder of Gurlej Brar, Goldy Brar's cousin, in Chandigarh a few years ago. Deepak was a wanted fugitive in connection with this case.

Upon receiving information from local residents about a body in the fields, Inspector Karmjeet Singh, SHO of Sonepat Sadar police station, confirmed that the deceased gangster had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. After taking custody of the body and conducting a post-mortem examination at the civil hospital, the victim's identity was verified with the assistance of the Punjab police.

Goldy Brar, in a Facebook post, took responsibility for the killing of Maan Jaton, one of the individuals involved in the murder of his brother Gurlej Brar. He stated that they had delivered retribution for his brother's killing and noted that Maan Jaton had challenged them on social media before being fatally shot. The investigation into the incident is ongoing, with forensic evidence being collected for examination at the forensic science laboratory in Madhuban, Karnal.

The violent episode underscores the ongoing feud between rival gangs and the grim consequences that often follow such confrontations in the world of organized crime.
