Day of Harmony: BAPS Hindu Mandir Abu Dhabi Celebrates Ram Navmi & Swaminarayan Jayanti

The iconic BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi, a beacon of peace and harmony, hosted an inspiring celebration on Sunday, 6 April 2025, marking the birth anniversaries of Bhagwan Shri Ram and Bhagwan Shri Swaminarayan. Tens of thousands visited the mandir this weekend to take part in the celebrations.

According to Pujya Brahmavihari Swami, the lead sadhu of the Mandir, the day featured a vibrant series of devotional and cultural events. Youth performers from the community presented compelling dramatizations and traditional dances that depicted the inspiring life and values of Bhagwan Shri Ram.

Shri Ram Navami and Shri Swaminarayan Jayanti celebrations in Abu Dhabi were celebrated globally in all BAPS temples in India and around the world. In this, Ram Janmotsav and Swaminarayan Jayanti were honored with devotion, music and spiritual contemplation. On this auspicious occasion, devotional Ram bhajans and Shri Ram Janmotsav were celebrated from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Aarti was performed on the auspicious occasion of Lord Shri Ram Janmotsav at 12:00 pm.

This is followed by cultural presentations from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the serene Ganga Ghat of the temple. While, from 8:15 pm to 10:00 pm, a special assembly and celebration of Shri Ram Janmotsav will be held. Apart from this, the birth anniversary of Lord Shri Swaminarayan was celebrated with a special evening assembly and Shri Hari Janmotsav Aarti.
