Bihar Election 2025: Today the election commission of India has announced the date of upcoming Bihar assembly elections. While the voting in Bihar will be held in two phases on November 6 and 11 and results will be declared on November 14. The term of the 243-member Bihar Assembly ends on November 22. This is the first time that elections will be held in two phases in Bihar. This has not happened since 2005. Voting took place in three phases in 2020, while in 2015, it took place in five phases.

When and how many seats will vote?

Voting will take place on November 6th for 121 seats. Voting will take place on November 11th for 122 seats.

What the ECI said during the PC:

During the PC, the Election Commission stated that if someone's name was left out, they can add it up to 10 days before the nomination.
No name can be added after the nomination is filed. The voter list was purified starting June 24th. The final voter list was released on September 30th. The Election Commission stated that this time the Bihar elections will be smooth and simple. They said that the elections will be completely transparent.

Summary
