Bihar Elections: The seat sharing between the NDA in Bihar has been announced. The BJP and JDU will contest 101 seats each. RLM and HAM have been allotted 6 seats each. Chirag Paswan's party, Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), will contest 29 seats. This announcement was made after a meeting in Delhi. Following the seat-sharing announcement, Chirag Paswan tweeted that the NDA family has completed the seat sharing in a cordial atmosphere. In fact, there had been considerable tussle over seat sharing for the past few days.

Seat sharing between NDA in Bihar announced

It was being said that the seat sharing would be announced in a day or two. The final touches were given at a meeting in Delhi on October 11th. The next day, on October 12th, Bihar election in-charge Dharmendra Pradhan announced it.

HAM leader Jitan Ram Manjhi had demanded 15 seats, but an agreement was reached on six. Chirag Paswan, meanwhile, was demanding 35 seats, but he agreed to 29.

Bihar's total 243 seats will be contested in two phases

Bihar's total 243 seats will be contested in two phases. Voting for the first phase will take place on November 6th, covering 121 seats. The second phase will take place on November 11th, covering 122 seats. The results will be announced on November 14th. There are 74.2 million voters in this election. Of these, 39.2 million are men and 34.9 million are women.
