NDA Bihar Seat Sharing : NDA block has finalised seat sharing for the state of Bihar for the upcoming General elections, NDA held a press conference announcing the numbers of seat sharing. BJP along with JD(U), Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas),  Hindustani Awam Morcha and Rashtriya Lok Morcha will be fighting together in Bihar for the upcoming elections.

Bihar Seat-Sharing

Vinod Tawde, BJP leader, announced the numbers of Seat Sharing. He announced that BJP will fight from 17 seats, while Janta Dal (United) will fight from 16 seats,  LJP(Ram Vilas) from five seats while Hindustani Awam Morcha and Rashtriya Lok Morcha from one seat each.

The Bihar state president of Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), Raju Tiwari confidently claimed that NDA will win all 40 seats from Bihar. Raju Tiwari further expressed his gratitude to the alliance for the seat sharing.

Before announcing the seat sharing, Tawde said that even though different parties will fight differently from different seats but, all parties of NDA will give 100 percent efforts in winning the seats.

Lok Sabha Constituency in Bihar

Bihar has 40 Lok Sabha constituencies - Gaya, Nawada, Jamui, Kishanganj,Katihar, Purnia,Bhagalpur, Banka, Jhanjharpur, Supaul, Araria, Madhepura, Khagaria, Darbhanga, Ujiarpur, Samastipur, Begusarai, Munger, Sitamarhi, Madhubani, Muzaffarpur, Saran, Hajipur, Valmiki Nagar, Paschim Champaran, Purvi Champaran, Sheohar, Vaishali, Gopalganj, Siwan, Maharajganj, Nalanda, Patna Sahib, Pataliputra, Arrah, Buxar, Sasaram,Karakat and Jahanabad.

2019 Elections

The seat sharing in NDA looks like it is based on the result of previous year with Bhartiya Janata Party winning 17 seats, JD(U) winning 16 seats, LJP winning 6 seats and INC winning just one seat. This time also BJP and JD(U) have kept their number of winning seats with LJP coming down to 5 seats so that the other two parties can have one seat each.
