Swachhata Hi Sewa campaign started by Prime Minister has gained its deserved importance in the country today. Members of the Bhartiya Janta party have actively participated in the Shramdaan for cleanliness program on October 1, on the eve of birth anniversary of Gandhi Ji.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi started this campaign to aim for a clean India which will be fueled the citizens.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah,  Bharitya Janta Party Chief JP Nadda as well as the Chief Minister to Gujarat amoung other prominent BJP personalities took part in the the cleanliness campaign.

Chief Minister of Gujarat, Bhupendra Patel participated in the drive. He took to twitter to share Swatchhata work carried out by him. He said that he has followed the directions of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to give one hour for the cleanliness work, under which he participated in the Ghatlodia constituency.  He added  "Tomorrow is Gandhi Jayanti, today let us all clean the street, neighborhood, public places with collective labor and pay true tribute to Pujya Bapu. It is also our moral duty to maintain the cleanliness of clean places. Come, let us all realize the concept of clean India."

Union Minister Amit Shah also participated in the drive in Ahmedabad. He was seen using broom to clean the garbage on a road on Ahmedabad.

President of BJP, JP Nadda also took part in the campaign. He was seen in tracks with gloves collecting garbage from the streets in New Delhi.

Apart from these, popular BJP Leader Ravi Shankar Prasad also gave his efforts to the campaign. He performed Shramdaan in the Patna on the Kali Ghat where he was also joined by local people. "Honorable Prime Minister took the pledge of clean India and all the countrymen are engaged in making the new India clean, healthy and capable with collective public participation. Under the leadership of the illustrious Prime Minister, every person is joining the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and giving it the form of a mass movement. Greetings to everyone!" said the BJP leader.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday took to twitter to motivate people to give their time and efforts to this campaign.
