Badlapur Encounter Case: An encounter has been carried out against Akshay Shinde, he was the accused in the Badlapur school sexual harassment case of Maharashtra. There seems to be a discrepancy in it- High Court

The case of encounter of Akshay Shinde, accused in Badlapur case, is getting heated up. Meanwhile, Bombay High Court heard the petition filed by Akshay's father. During this, the High Court raised many such questions, which the police could not answer. Along with raising questions, Bombay High Court even said that this cannot be called an encounter. The High Court said that prima facie there is a mistake in it.

High Court has raised questions on the encounter

The Bombay High Court raised several questions one after the other. The bench said that this cannot be called an encounter. This is a prima facie mistake. A weak man cannot fire. The High Court also questioned why the police gun was unlocked? The High Court also questioned that if the accused tried to run away, why was he shot in the head? Why was he not shot in the hand or leg?

Show us the injury certificate of the police officer

The court said that this cannot be called an encounter, show us the injury certificate of the police officer, have the papers been sent to Human Rights? Responding to this, the government said that yes, they have been sent.The court asked if any police officer related to that incident is present here? To which the government refused. The government lawyer said that right now an ACP level officer of CID is investigating the case.

'CCTV should be kept safe'

Amit Katrnavare, who appeared on behalf of Akshay Shinde, has told the court that the CCTV of all the shops while taking accused into custody from Taloja jail and at the time of the incident should be kept safe immediately,

'SIT failed to provide justice to the victim'

The lawyer of Akshay Shinde's father said that it is clear that he is demanding an inquiry into the fake encounter. An independent inquiry should be conducted by senior officers in the CID or any other police station, as is required to be done under the law. The High Court has the right to give directions for the formation of an SIT.

Accused father had filed the petition

Akshay's father Anna Shinde has alleged in the petition filed through lawyer Amit Katrnavare that his son Akshay Shinde was killed in a fake encounter. He demanded a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate the case.
