"Burst crackers after winning world cup"- Rohit Sharma
The Indian Skipper Rohit Sharma has again proved why he is liked by everyone. The skipper made humorous comments during press conference after winning the Asia Cup. The Skipper led team India to winning Asia cup by an easy and comfortable win at the finals.
During the press conference when Rohit Sharma was answering question posed by media persons, crackers were bursting in the background at the stadium to which Rohit said that burst the crackers once we win World Cup "World Cup jeetne ke baad phodo yaar."
India played Asia cup final against Sri Lanka in R Premadasa Stadium on Sunday 17 September. India won by 10 wickets as Sri Lanka could only manage to score 50 runs in 15.2 overs as they got all out. India managed to chase the score in just 6.1 overs bringing the Cup home.
Mohammad Siraj became the player of the match as he took 6 wickets in 7 overs by giving away just 21 runs bringing the Sri Lankan team down one by one. Sri Lanka came on the field with bad luck and Indian team took the trophy as if it was always theirs.

Siraj has also donated all his cash prize to the ground staff crediting them for their hard work. He has received praise for this action on social media. In his post match statement after winning the Asia cup he said- " No biryani here. Have been bowling well since a long time. Was missing the edges earlier. But found them today. The wicket was seaming earlier, but there was swing today. Thought that I will bowl fuller because of the swing. When there's good bonding between fast bowlers, it's helpful for the team. I was thinking it would be great if I could stop the boundary. My best spell. This cash prize goes to the groundsmen. This tournament wouldn't have been possible without them.".
