The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has extended the deadline for delivering its verdict regarding the potential awarding of a silver medal to Vinesh Phogat, who was disqualified from the Paris Olympics. The new deadline is set for Tuesday, August 13, 6:00 PM Paris time and 9:30 PM IST.

In an official statement, the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) confirmed that CAS has given additional time for the Sole Arbitrator, Hon. Dr. Annabelle Bennett, to make a final decision in the case involving Vinesh Phogat against United World Wrestling and the International Olympic Committee. This extension allows the arbitrator to deliver the verdict by the revised deadline. (ANI)
