After securing a decisive victory in the recent elections, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) chief, Revanth Reddy, expressed gratitude to senior Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and AICC Chief Mallikarjun Kharge. In a press conference on Sunday, Reddy emphasized the party's commitment to fulfilling the aspirations of the Telangana people following the formation of the government.

Attributing the success to various factors, Reddy acknowledged the impact of former AICC president Rahul Gandhi's 'Bharat Jodo Yatra,' which significantly boosted the party's standing in the state. He underscored the importance of the "six guarantees" put forth by the Congress and reiterated the party's dedication to implementing promises made by leaders like Rahul Gandhi once in power.

Welcoming the wishes extended by BRS Working President K T Rama Rao to the Congress party on its victory, Reddy expressed optimism about collaboration with the BRS for effective governance. He described the election outcome as a clear mandate reflecting the people's desire for change and their decision to defeat the incumbent KCR-led government.

Reddy highlighted the role of the opposition, asserting that the people have determined its significance. He called upon the BRS to cooperate in fulfilling the people's aspirations and stressed the importance of reviving democratic values in the state.

Acknowledging the support of Congress allies, the CPI and Telangana Jana Samithi, Reddy expressed gratitude for their contributions to the party's success. Looking ahead, he announced plans to rename Pragathi Bhavan, the official residence of the chief minister, as 'Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Praja Bhavan' once the Congress forms the government.

Assuring a focus on protecting people's rights, Reddy outlined the Congress government's commitment to inclusivity by allowing common people entry into the state secretariat. As the party prepares to take charge, Reddy conveyed a message of optimism and determination to meet the expectations of the electorate and fulfill the promises made during the election campaign.
