Before the Lok Sabha Elections, veteran Congress leader and former MLA of Rajula, Ambarish Der, is set to join the BJP. Today, he had a meeting with BJP state president CR Patil at Ambarish Der's house in the Science City area of Ahmedabad. Following this meeting, Ambarishbhai Jivabhai Der announced that he would hold a press conference and visit Kamalam tomorrow around 12 to 12:30 pm to assume the office of the BJP.

Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, Congress has suffered another blow. Ambarish Der, a young leader who served in the Congress for years, has resigned from all posts in the party. Holding a press conference, Ambarish Der stated that he will join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) tomorrow. He told the media that he began his public life in 2003, serving the people of Gujarat for 2- 3 terms while in the Congress party. Despite fearlessly raising various issues in Congress, including Article 370 and the Ram Temple, attempts to work on these matters felt unsatisfactory.

AmbarishDer mentioned that today, BJP state president CR Patil visited his house to inquire about his mother, who had been ill for a long time. After the meeting, he resigned from all Congress posts, expressing uncertainty about when the party suspended him. He said, 'When I worked for the BJP in my youth, the talk of joining the BJP was already ongoing.' Tomorrow at 12-12:30, I will reach Kamalam and join the party. Following that, I will go to my constituency, meet all the workers and people, and discuss with those who wish to come.

Ambarish Der stated, 'I will do whatever work is assigned to me.' He emphasized that abundance and deficiency exist everywhere, questioning the role of political parties in today's time and the function of ego. Despite discussing various issues with Mahudi Mandal, no action was taken. Ambarish Der clarified that he is not running for a post after joining politics and is willing to undertake any assigned work. The decision to join was made with the aim of serving the people, without any planning, joining for seats, or bargaining, and has been contemplated over the last three years.
