Special Presentation – Dr. Vivek Kumar Bhatt
In the next episode, we learn that a bloody conflict had erupted between Dawood and Alamzeb, and Manya Surve had now entered the scene. All three aspired to become prominent dons in Mumbai's dark underworld. However, Alamzeb sided with Manya Surve, resulting in the killing of Dawood's brother and a heavy attack on Dawood's residence—an unprecedented event in Mumbai. Despite the intensity of the shooting, Dawood managed to escape. Now, Dawood's target was Alamzeb's Pathan gang, seeking vengeance with a brother for a brother, blood for blood.
Now read on….
The gang war escalated to the point where Dawood eliminated Amirzada and Sanad Khan Salim Batla of the Pathan gang. Dawood severed ties with Hajimstan and quickly established his own operations. Initially, Dawood had been a special associate of Lallu Jogi, but he began dealing directly with Lallu Jogi. With Lallu Jogi's assistance, Dawood fostered strong relations between Dubai and the Gulf countries. Dawood's business expanded rapidly, causing chaos in the rest of the underworld. The animosity between Dawood's D Company and Alamzeb's Pathan gang reached a peak, with both factions seeking to annihilate each other. Simultaneously, the police and customs took a tough stance, with brave officers closely monitoring smuggling activities and seizing goods worth crores.

In 1983, Dawood and Haji Ismail faced a setback when goods worth Rs. 5.5 crores were seized at Salaya. This period marked a time when the underworld surpassed the capabilities of our police and customs. The underworld's adoption of modern weapons, satellite communications, and powerful networks became overwhelming. Despite the constant threats from customs, police, and Pathan gangs, Dawood remained committed to his business, vigilantly overseeing all illegal activities from Mumbai.

However, in the last days of May, Dawood faced a significant blow when a large consignment from Gujarat was raided by Customs, resulting in substantial losses. In June 1983, another consignment worth Rs. 5.5 crores at Salaya was apprehended. Dawood, undeterred, devised a new plan and headed for Gujarat.
