Defence Minister Rajnath Singh: No one considers India as weak
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday highlighted the drastic shift in the perception of India's strength on the global stage over the past nine years. Speaking at the 'Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra' in his parliamentary constituency, Singh credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for this positive transformation.
Global Recognition of India's Strength
Singh emphasized that the world's perception of India has evolved, asserting that the country is no longer viewed as weak. According to the Defence Minister, India is now recognized as a "strong and powerful" nation, a transformation he attributes to the leadership of Prime Minister Modi."Now no one considers India as weak. We are now seen as a strong and powerful country. The credit for this goes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi," stated Singh during the event.
Strength Deters Challenges
Singh further conveyed that when a nation and its citizens are strong, no external force in the world dares to challenge or confront them. He underscored the importance of national strength in deterring potential threats and ensuring security."When the country and countrymen are strong, no power in the world can dare to show eyes to us," he added, emphasizing the newfound resilience of India.

Government's Direct Outreach to Citizens
In a notable departure from historical norms, Singh highlighted that the current government, under Prime Minister Modi's leadership, has undertaken an unprecedented approach. He noted that the government is proactively reaching out to the people, ensuring they avail the benefits of various welfare schemes."It is happening for the first time in the history of India post-independence that any government is reaching the door of people to ensure that they avail the benefits of various welfare schemes," Singh remarked during the event.
Economic ascendance under Modi's leadership
Commenting on the economic progress of India, Singh pointed out that when Prime Minister Modi assumed office, the country's economy held the 10th position globally. However, under Modi's leadership, India has ascended to the fifth position in the world economy."The economists feel this is the charisma of Modi. If all goes like this, the Indian economy will be among the top three economies in the world by 2027 and on the top by 2047," Singh predicted, highlighting the optimistic outlook for India's economic future.
