4 men arrested for alleged links to Lashkar-e-Taiba in Budgam
The Indian army along with the the Jammu and Kashmir police has arrested 4 men who are alleged to have connections with the terrorist group Lashkar-e-Taiba. According to the reports, the arrest has been made in the Budgam district of Kashmir. The arrests were made on Tuesday on the backdrop of potential links to Lashkar.
A spokesperson of police stated that the police along the 62 Rashtiya Rifle of army have arrested the 4 men. “Police along with army (62 RR) arrested four terrorist associates in Beerwah area of district Budgam,” said the spokesperson of police.
All 4 men were residents of Beerwah area of Budgam District. There names are identified as Mushtaq Ahmad Lone, Azhar Ahmad Mir, Irfan Ahmad Sofi and Abrar Ahmad Malik. The police have found incriminating material against them. “Incriminating materials have been recovered from their possession. All the recovered materials have been taken into case records for further investigation,”
According to police, a case has been registered against these individuals at the Beerwah police station.
