MHA Hands Over Investigation of Pahalgam Terror Attack to NIA: Sources
Pahalgam Terror Attack: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) will now investigate the Pahalgam terror attack. The NIA team has already reached Pahalgam and started its work. Now, according to the information received from sources, the Home Ministry has handed over the responsibility of investigating the Pahalgam terror attack to the NIA.
According to sources, the responsibility of investigating the Pahalgam terror attack has been handed over to the NIA by the Union Home Ministry.
What does the investigation by NIA mean?
The NIA team has been present at the spot since the Pahalgam terror attack.
Which includes forensic team as well as investigating team.
After this order of the Central Government, there will be an official investigation on the NIA FIR.
Other agencies including Jammu and Kashmir Police will assist NIA in this investigation.

Major operation of security forces continues after Pahalgam attack
It is known that after the Pahalgam attack, the authorities started a large-scale action against terrorists and their supporters in Kashmir, in which the houses of many terrorists were demolished. Raids were conducted at hideouts and hundreds of terrorist aides were detained for questioning. Officials gave this information on Saturday.
Many terrorists' houses demolished, raids conducted at 60 places in Srinagar
Officials said that in the last 48 hours, the houses of five terrorists and their aides have been demolished. They said that similar action will be taken against others involved in terrorist activities. A spokesperson of Jammu and Kashmir Police said that raids were conducted at more than 60 places in Srinagar on Saturday to "dismantle the terrorism-supporting system"

Security forces have increased vigilance in Anantnag district and search operations are being conducted continuously. Officials said that mobile vehicle checkpoints have been set up across the district to keep an eye on any suspicious activity. Officials said that security forces are searching for known terrorists and their supporters present in the valley, so that any attack like Pahalgam can be thwarted. 175 people have been detained in Anantnag. They are being questioned.
