Pahalgam Terror Attack: PM calls Home Minister from Saudi, Amit Shah leaves for J&K
Pahalgam Terror Attack: The Prime Minister Narendra Modi has spoken to Union Home Minister Amit Shah over the phone regarding the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. The Prime Minister has asked Shah to take appropriate steps. The Prime Minister has asked Shah to visit the spot. On the other hand, Shah has called an emergency meeting. In which the Home Secretary of IB and other officials of the Home Ministry were present.
The DGP of Jammu and Kashmir joined this meeting virtually. So far one person has died in the terrorist attack. 12 people were injured, out of which four are in critical condition
This terrorist incident took place in Baisaran of Pahalgam at around 2.30 pm.
When the tourists were riding horses on the top of the mountain, suddenly the terrorists started firing indiscriminately. The tourists did not even get a chance to recover.
Conversation between Prime Minister Modi and Amit Shah
The Prime Minister is currently on a tour of Saudi Arabia. During the conversation on the phone, the Prime Minister has instructed Shah to take all appropriate steps. The Prime Minister has also asked Shah to visit the spot.
After this, Union Home Minister Amit Shah left for the Union Territory.
Prime Minister Modi condemned the terrorist incident
Prime Minister Narendra Modi condemned the terrorist attack in Pahalgam by tweeting on the social media platform X. The Prime Minister wrote, 'My condolences to those who have lost their loved ones. Whoever is behind this heinous attack will be brought to the dock, they will not be spared. Our commitment to fight against terrorism is unwavering and it will become even stronger'.

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has condemned the terrorist attack. Abdullah said that he is shocked by the attack in Pahalgam. The attack on tourists is extremely disgusting. The perpetrators of this attack are savages, inhumane and deserving of contempt. I am returning from Srinagar. My colleagues have reached the hospital to monitor the injured people.

Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and PDP Chief Mehbooba Mufti condemned the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. Mehbooba said that our sympathies are with the victims and their families.
BJP leader Ravinder Raina has described the terrorist attack in Pahalgam as cowardly. Ravinder said that Pakistani terrorists cannot face the Indian security forces, so they targeted unarmed and innocent tourists.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has condemned the terrorist attack. He described the attack on innocent people as cowardly.
Who took responsibility for the terrorist attack?
The Resistance Front' i.e. TRF has taken responsibility for the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. TRF, working at the behest of Pakistan-backed terrorist organizations, has been continuously carrying out attacks in Jammu and Kashmir for the last few years.
